China Institute for Marine Affairs held the International Workshop on Cooperation and Development in the South China Sea in 2011. Experts and scholars from China, Canada, the U.S.A, Germany, Hong Kong and Taiwan gathered to have a deep discussion of the topics. We select treatises from 30 articles and publish them as a collection, hoping it will give some insights for researchers in the South China Sea issues.
