King James Version of the Bible (abbr. KJV) is one of the many English versions of the Bible. Published in 1611, it was translated under the order of King James I. KJV not only largely influenced other English versions of the Bible, but also contributed to the English literature. It had a vocabulary of 8,000 common words, so these who did not receive good education could understand what God said as well.
