Besides being promoted in politics, economy and culture, nowadays, “OBOR” Strategy was promoted in children’s book publishing. On Shanghai Children’s Book Fair, China Children’s Press and Publication Group (CCPPG) organized the first seminar to initiate “Multilateral Cooperation Frame of International Children’s Book Publishing”.

It’s learnt the platform of “Multilateral Cooperation Frame of International Children’s Book Publishing” would enhance the cooperation between China children’s book publishing and the counterparts from the countries along OBOR including Southeast Asia, South Asia, West Asia, the Middle East as well as Africa, which is of much significance. The propose appealed so many presses and publishing organizations in ASEAN countries, Mongolia, India, Jordan, South Korea, Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Czech, and Slovakia, that the publishing organizations in ASEAN countries such as Malaysia promised to actively promote the cooperation under the multilateral cooperation frame of international children’s book publishing, and will joint exhibit with China for “Silk Road, China and ASEAN” on Bologna Book Fair, Frankfurt Book Fair, and Beijing International Book Fair.

The stage of cultural communication is more important.

 “We would make multilateral cooperation frame of international children’s publishing not only a book exhibition.” Elena Pasoli, the director of Bologna Book Fair said. “The key task of Bologna Book Fair is to collect the most excellent children’s publications in the world. More importantly, on Bologna Book Fair, it’s also a stage for cultural communication, seeking for a better development of children’s book publishing in countries along the silk road. It’s learnt that CCPPG has reached 56 copyright output agreements under “Multilateral Cooperation Frame of International Children’s Book Publishing” in the second half of this year.
