The Jinsha was discovered in early 2001 in the northwestern suburb of Chengdu City. After four years of excavations,we now have a general idea about the nature, the area of relics distribution and the cultural content of the site.We intend to present a general picture of the site in this publication,to tell our readers about the site's geographical location,the distribution of the relics, major deposits,and major artefacts that have been unearthed.
