On March 9, 2017, the State Council Information Office published "The Human Rights Record of the United States in 2016" in response to the "Country Human Rights Report" released by the U.S. government the previous day. The full text of the human rights record is about 30,000 words, showing the real human rights of the United States to the world from the following six aspects: (1) life and personal rights have been seriously violated; (2) political rights have been trampled on; (3) the living conditions of low- and middle-income groups are worrying (4) Racial discrimination is intensifying; (5) The rights of women, children and the elderly lack due protection; (6) The human rights of other countries are grossly violated. In addition, the "2016 Human Rights Violations in the United States" are listed in the form of an appendix, which are all from the reports of American and Western mainstream media on human rights in the United States.
